Before you choose your kit

Does the RIRETHER whiskey smoker kit include butane?

No. The torch is included but ships empty. Purchase butane separately and follow the torch instructions before first use. A gift recipient will need fuel before making a smoked drink.

Is it suitable for a beginner?

The kit includes an instruction manual and flavor pairing card. It suits home cocktail makers who are comfortable using a butane torch and following the setup instructions. Choose another type of smoker if you want an electric device.

Will it fit my whiskey glasses?

RIRETHER's fit guidance covers most standard whiskey, rocks and Glencairn glasses with openings up to 4 inches. Measure your glass opening and check that the smoker is stable on the rim. Maximum diameter alone does not guarantee a secure fit on every glass shape.

How long should I smoke a drink?

With the torch already prepared, RIRETHER's guide uses a brief 3–5 second ignition of the chips, followed by a 10–20 second covered infusion. These are different stages; the infusion time is not a continuous torch-burning time. Begin with a shorter infusion and adjust to taste. Read the full instructions and use the kit in a ventilated area, away from children.

Which wood should I use for an Old Fashioned?

Cherry is a useful starting point in RIRETHER's flavor guide. Try oak if you prefer a stronger smoke profile, or apple for a milder option. Keep the recipe the same while comparing woods so you can find your preference.

When will my order ship?

Can I return a torch after filling it?

Under RIRETHER's return policy, filled or used torches and opened wood chips are not returnable. Eligible unused, unfilled items in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
